The Applied Physics Laboratory, a division of The Johns Hopkins University, is a not-for-profit research and development organization dedicated to solving complex problems that present critical challenges to the nation. Lockheed Martin

Alignent currently serves two Medtronic divisions. The Medtronic Microelectronics Center's technology team relies on the solutions to develop capability and technology roadmaps that aid in the development of integrated circuits, foundry services and custom microelectronics. The PRIME Faraday Partnership

The PRIME Faraday Partnership, the first of four Faraday Partnerships launched by the UK Government to assist industries throughout the UK, uses Alignent's solutions to create technology roadmaps that drive its technology watch, provide technical and market reports targeted at UK businesses and feed into the organization's long-term strategy. The Partnership focuses its skills on the design and development of Products with Interdependent Mechanical and Electronic parts (PRIME).

Sandia National Laboratories

Sandia National Laboratories, which partners with the United States Air Force and other branches of the military, relies on Alignent's roadmaps to drive technology developments for various national security projects through 2015 and beyond. The roadmaps provide the engineers at Sandia with a means to visualize technology evolution and plan for the future.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a world leader in helicopter design, manufacturing and service, standardized on Alignent to bring consistency and collaboration to its roadmapping efforts. Where previous roadmapping efforts were ad-hoc and in multiple formats, Sikorsky rolled out Vision Strategist to provide a single, collaborative database of roadmaps with data integrity and enterprise-wide availability, resulting in better and faster decisions that drive all internally-funded and externally-funded R&D activities.

SKF is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of ball bearing products and solutions for automotive, trains and heavy equipment machinery companies. U.S. Air Force

The Air Force Flight Test Center, based out of Edwards Air Force Base in California, chose Alignent to create roadmaps that support its ground-and flight-test efforts. The Air Force uses roadmaps across technical disciplines to drive technical requirements and operational impacts, estimate long-term impacts of financial decisions, and to link program management processes with strategic vision.

U.S. Navy

The U.S. Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane Naval Base, relies on Alignent to create roadmaps from both a top-down and bottoms-up perspective. From the top-down perspective, roadmaps are used to establish baseline capabilities and map surface ship logistics and maintenance. From the bottoms-up perspective, roadmaps are developed to provide support to external customers. Alignent is the standard system for creating roadmaps across command and control, combat identification, solid state RF devices, wireless, electronic warfare, fuel cell development and directed energy weapons.

University of Cambridge

The Centre for Technology Management, part of the University of Cambridge Department of Engineering provides industrial technology managers and the wider technology management community with a unique resource for investigating effective technology management practices. The University uses Alignent Software's products and resources to support their efforts.

U.S. Special Operations Command

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), based out of MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, uses Alignent's solutions to create roadmaps to plan for future technological evolution. The USSOCOM uses Alignent to map future capabilities needed by the armed forces, and then to plan R&D development efforts to meet those criteria.
