Dennis Clerke
Chief Executive Officer

Dennis Clerke has 20 years of experience in managing high-tech software companies. Prior to joining Alignent Software, Dennis was President and CEO of Cardiff Software, Inc., a leading provider of content capture and business process management software. During his time at Cardiff, he grew revenue from start up to nearly $30M in sales garnering the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 award four years running and led the company through a successful acquisition by Verity. Prior to Cardiff, Dennis served as Director of Marketing and Sales for DataVision Technologies, a multimedia content software company acquired by National Computer Systems and was a founder at Theratek International , a successful medical device start-up company acquired by Dow Corning Wright. Dennis received his bachelors degree, magna cum laude, in engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business.

Dwight Hare
Chief Architect

Dwight Hare has over 26 years of experience in software development. Prior to joining Alignent Software, Dwight was a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems, a director-level technical leadership position. Dwight spent a total of 18 years at Sun Microsystems, where he participated in the original design and led the development effort of CORBA, and also served as the Director of Security defining the security strategy for Sun. Dwight holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas – Austin and a B.S. in Physics from Northwestern University.

Terry Tigner
Vice President of Consulting

Terry Tigner joins Alignent Software with more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and operations. Prior to joining Alignent, he was Group Vice President of the West Area Division for Oracle Corporation. During his tenure at Oracle, Terry was responsible for all sales and services engagements, including P& L responsibility for a $200 million division with over 500 professionals. Prior to his career at Oracle, Terry was National Directing Partner at Ernst & Young where he created a new Mid-Market practice and grew annual sales for the practice to over $50 million within two years. Terry's experience also includes management consulting experience with KPMG and Andersen Consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Westmont College and an MBA from the University of California-Irvine.

Max Hill
Vice President of Sales

Max Hill has over 18 years of experience in software sales and sales management. Prior to joining Alignent Software, Max led Oracle Corporation's Strategic Accounts Sales organization as West Area Director, after numerous promotions from Account Manager over a 7-year career. At Oracle, Max exceeded revenue goals for each year and was responsible for well over $100M in applications software sales. Prior to his career at Oracle, Max held Sales Management positions with top suppliers in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Design Engineering software fields. Max earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington.

Lewis Marchand
Vice President of Finance

With more than 25 years of finance management experience, Lewis has held a variety of senior-level positions in both privately-held and publicly-traded global companies in such industries as electronics manufacturing, medical device manufacturing and biotechnology. Prior to joining Alignent, Lewis was the Director of World Wide Reporting for Chiron Ophthalmics, a division of Chiron Corporation. At Chiron, he oversaw the growth of financial systems and staffing to accommodate the company's growth to $200 million in revenues per year. He holds a BS in Accounting, from California State University Long Beach and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from California State University Fullerton, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
